New Era Casual Chic - Part 2
You’ve been waiting for it: our winter collection arrives tomorrow.
As always, there will be beautiful fabrics. There will also be, above all, unseen garments that will keep you warm in style:

Polo knit sweater
Polo knit sweater in two-tone knit, with beautiful collar finishes, buttonholes and Milano ribbed edges.
For this new piece, it all started last summer while we were working on our next autumn collection. We were working on another form of elegance that is more accessible and easier to adopt: casual chic.
That’s when the desire arose to create a new model, right in line with our autumn collection, THE centerpiece of casual chic style, which I named the polo.
And yes! The polo has the look of a shirt, without being too formal, and the casualness of a t-shirt without looking sloppy
We had a very clear idea of what we wanted.
A polo, of course, but not just any polo. An EMIR polo.
We didn’t want a pique cotton polo, too sporty for us!
We were looking for an elegant knit and a rather retro color.
Easier said than done, because it wasn’t enough to choose just any wool cloth at random, any cut or color. We had to push the work further so that this polo would truly make your outfits refined.
The results: we ultimately hadn’t found what we were looking for and we had set our prototypes aside.
Then, with the design of this winter capsule collection, we decided to take action by developing not a polo, but a polo knit sweater in a knit with retro patterns as we had hoped! And even more so, because the result of this sweater is decidedly vintage and perfectly embodies both the Casual Chic style and the Preppy style.

NEWFIT Denim Sarouel
Here is the reissue of our NewFit Denim jean or the combination of a designer sarouel and denim fabric.
To better match your needs and desires, our iconic sarouel returns this year with a straight cut (19 cm leg opening) and about 4 cm more in length (96 cm on a size M).
The pants run slightly large, but you should know that with raw denim, the fabric moves. It will stretch during the first few wears and when you decide to wash it, the fibers will shrink and the legs will lose a few centimeters. Keep this in mind when ordering.
This winter, we are offering it in 2 colors:
- Raw Californian Blue
- Denim Black
Indigo is an unstable dye, meaning that it bleeds and fades under the effect of movement and especially washing.
If you particularly appreciated the “new” look of our raw New Fit Denim with its very deep and bright fabric. And if you want to preserve its beautiful color for as long as possible, follow the instructions in our care guide here
Our black denim offers many advantages.
It gives your look a more dressed-up appearance, while being modern and graphic. It also brings a little rebellious side that cannot be explained.
The fabric of our black denim is a very beautiful twill that was woven with black-dyed warp threads and ecru weft threads.
The warp threads were dipped in a boiling vat containing black dye several times, until the desired intensity of black was obtained.
This is “warp dyeing”.
With this method, the fading is more subtle.
EMIR Bombers
This is a jacket model we had never tried at EMIR.
Some call it the Teddy or even the Varsity, I am happy to present our first model of a Bomber jacket in blended wool.
The Bomber is an iconic garment of urban style.
For our version of the Bomber we wanted to offer you the best of casual chic, by combining a relaxed cut and a beautiful grey wool, for a jacket with timeless elegance.
On the fabric side: beautiful on the outside and inside
The EMIR bomber is very versatile and can suit many different styles. To achieve this result it needed a beautiful fabric:
- Blended wool for a textured look and unmatched softness,
- Interior and pockets lined with Cotton, for comfort and breathability
- Sleeves fully lined with polyester to put it on and take it off easily without risking deforming your bomber.
- Beautiful finishes: collar, panels and snap buttons
On the style side: versatile
This jacket is a timeless piece of Casual style. You could say it is on the casual side of the force…
You can wear it just as well with sneakers as with dress shoes, with a t-shirt or a knit, and this from autumn to spring!
Its beautiful charcoal grey is particularly easy to wear in winter.
We chose a flecked wool cloth, understated but with character.
Straight coat
The return of our coat, exceptional in its design and fabric.
This coat plays with trends, we chose a straight and slightly oversized cut, a classic length mid-thigh and a modern and minimalist collar.
A masculine and timeless elegance to dress up stylish men.
Like you, this fabric is not like the others.
A tight wool to protect from the cold and wind without making you sweat.
Some cashmere for softness.
Some polyamide for structure and water repellency.
Ideal for autumn and winter.
Concretely, our coat is:
A light wool cloth with a dense but flexible weave, very pleasant to wear.
It keeps you warm without weighing on your shoulders.
Matte look, soft fabric that holds its shape well.
Slightly oversized: freedom of movement and possibility to wear a Hoodie or a jacket underneath.
Mid-thigh length on a 1m80 man in size M.
For those who like fitted coats you can take one size down.
Front and Collar panel, for presence.
Minimalist shawl collar for modernity and versatility.
Fully lined, it is beautiful on the outside AND inside! But above all the lining will allow you to slip into your straight coat with extreme ease, without deforming it and taking it off the same way… it is a very satisfying feeling.
