COMPOSITION
-
Polyester 68%: structure, durability, wrinkle resistance.
-
Viscose 28%: drape, softness, breathability.
- Elastane 4%: comfort.
Made from a new polyviscose fabric that is lighter (348 g/m²) but denser, it offers ideal comfort for the variable temperatures of autumn. The viscose adds fluidity and enhances breathability. The polyester ensures durability and makes it easier to care for. The elastane allows the fabric to stretch without losing its shape.
CARE
How to wash your EMIR polyviscose garments?
WASHING
It is important to refer to the care label on your garments. We recommend washing your viscose and polyviscose garments inside out to preserve the vibrancy of the colours.
Machine washing: Wash your viscose garments at 30° on a delicate cycle. It is advisable to wash them with other items to prevent the machine drum from damaging them.
Hand washing: If you prefer to wash your EMIR garments by hand, wash them in cold or lukewarm water, at a maximum of 20°. Immerse them in water with detergent, gently rub the fabric, then rinse in clean water.
DRYING
Viscose garments should not be tumble-dried. Hanging to dry is the only suitable method.
Please note that the softness of the viscose may change when it comes into contact with water. Don't worry, it will regain its original feel once dry.
IRONING
Iron viscose inside out with the iron set to the lowest temperature, while damp and using a pressing cloth* for added protection. Do not use the steam function on your iron, as this may damage the garment. This is the stage at which the viscose garment regains its original shape.
*A damp cloth used for ironing garments.
Have you never used a pressing cloth before?
- Take a piece of cotton fabric, preferably white and without seams,
- Dampen it by running it under water,
- Wring out the pressing cloth thoroughly so that water does not drip onto the garment you are ironing,
- Place the pressing cloth flat on the garment,
- Set the iron to the correct temperature and you're ready to go!
This way you will extend the life of your favourite pieces. This technique is especially useful with dark fabrics, jeans or suit fabrics that easily become shiny when ironed. The iron can leave a “shiny” finish on your garments and leave behind shiny marks.
