THE CHOICE OF ELEGANCE
Introducing our new classic, the suit you can wear almost all year round without overdoing it.
With its kimono cut, fabric, windowpane check pattern, shawl collar, two pockets and single button, it is a truly understatedly original suit. You will love it.
A MODEST & ELEGANT TOP
This kimono reimagined with an EMIR twist is as understated as it is elegant with its cut, patterns, and fabric. It will make you stand out and effortlessly elevate your basic outfits.
The Noragi Suit jacket is inspired by a traditional Japanese rural garment. It features carefully tailored volumes for a straight shape, slightly crossed at the front with its shawl collar. Its natural shoulders and comfortable volume give it its authentic Japanese character.
A small change to the jacket this year : we chose to keep only one button and remove the pockets for a more minimalist look.
WIDE-LEG TROUSERS, JUST RIGHT
Wide just right and well-designed. For these trousers, we opted for a tapered cut whose main asset is comfort and which adapts to most body types. With a low rise, room at the waist and thighs and a more fitted leg to give them that classy and slender look.
Worn as a full Noragi look or mixed and matched, these classic and versatile trousers will enhance your everyday outfits even with a simple top.
A PARTICULAR MATERIAL
Its thick (390 g/m2) yet lightweight fabric allows it to be worn in winter as well as during the transitional seasons, when the weather turns hot and cold.
It is a polyviscose that contains wool, which is thermoregulating. This means that it will keep you warm in cold weather and allow for good ventilation on warm autumn afternoons; it will also prevent you from sweating in heated indoor spaces.
The combination of wool and viscose gives the fabric a certain suppleness for greater comfort.
FABRIC CLOSE-UP:
It is a midnight blue fabric with a “Windowpane” pattern—a windowpane check, in other words! Elegant and minimalist, like a window opening onto the world! Inspiring, isn’t it?
When viewed up close, you can see that the checks are not perfectly square but rather slightly elongated. This elongates the silhouette and creates a more elegant look.
The origin of the windowpane check is unknown, but it became notably more popular during the 20th century, especially on autumn wool blankets.
Originally, it was worn as a suit only by academics.
It has become the symbol of elegant yet less formal menswear, which is why it is often found on mismatched, slightly sporty jackets—but sporty-luxe, like equestrian wear.
And now you can see exactly why we chose to include it in our autumn collection under the “casual chic” theme!
