AMARIN JACKET
Straight cut, two patch pockets, two large inner pockets, a zip, and a bowling jacket style collar.
SIZE GUIDE
The Amarin jacket has a slightly tailored fit. If you are on the fuller side and prefer a comfortable fit, take one size up; otherwise, choose your usual size. For reference, our models measure (studio photos):
- 180 cm, 75 kg: size L (taupe jacket)
- 175 cm, 82 kg: size L (black jacket)
Its cut allows you to wear a sweater underneath. It can obviously be paired with a simple shirt, like any blazer. It is therefore a versatile jacket that can accompany you all year round, depending on how you use it.
COMPOSITION
This jacket offers an excellent balance between fluidity, structure and thermal comfort. The fabric is a blend of viscose (68%), polyester (24%) and elastane (8%). It wrinkles little, and its weight of 435g/m2 makes this outfit an ideal combo for autumn and winter! Viscose brings softness and a natural drape, while the small touch of elastane allows for optimal freedom of movement. A beautiful fabric that has proven itself on our previous NewFit outfits.
CARE
How to wash your EMIR viscose pieces?
WASHING
It is important to refer to the care label on your clothes. We recommend washing your viscose pieces inside out to preserve the vibrancy of the colors. Machine wash: Your viscose clothes are washed at a temperature of 30° on a delicate cycle. It is advisable to wash them with other items to prevent the machine drum from damaging them. Hand wash: If you prefer to wash your EMIR pieces by hand, wash them in cold or lukewarm water, at 20° maximum. Immerse them in water with detergent and rub gently then rinse in clean water.
DRYING
Viscose clothes should not be tumble dried. Only drying on a hanger is appropriate. Note that the softness of viscose can be altered when in contact with water. Don't worry, once dry, it will regain its original feel.
IRONING
Viscose is ironed inside out with an iron set to the minimum, while damp and with a pressing cloth* for extra precaution. Do not use the steam function of your iron to avoid damaging the garment. It is at this stage that the viscose garment regains its original size. *Damp cloth used to iron clothes. Have you never used a pressing cloth?
-
- Take a piece of cotton fabric, preferably white and without seams,
-
- Dampen it by running it under water,
-
- Wring out the pressing cloth well so that the water does not drip onto the garment to be ironed,
-
- Place the pressing cloth flat on the garment,
-
- Set the iron to the right temperature and you're off!
-
This way you extend the life of your favorite pieces. This technique is especially very practical with dark fabrics, jeans or suit fabrics that easily shine when ironed. Because the iron risks "shining" your clothes and leaving shiny marks.
